Mayhem Monday

Mondays are often somewhat chaotic as we get back into the grind of the work/school week from the weekend.

No exception for Belle. We have started "homeschooling" this year and working a little extra at home on speech, PT and OT therapies.

She currently loves "Itsy Bitsy Spider",  "Head, Shoulders, Knees & Toes"  and tolerates a little of Alphabet exercises.

Also, exciting news for this Monday. Belle has her first gymnastic class today.

What are some of your or your little ones favorite preschool activities? We would love to try them.

Belle's Story

Hello and Welcome to our little piece of the Internet, Our Belle was born 6 weeks premature with Down Syndrome (Trisomy 21) and severe health complications that led to 4 months in the NICU. After those 4 months, two major surgeries (open heart surgery at 10 weeks old & diaphragmatic plication w/ a g-button placed at 14 weeks to repair issues from complications of the heart surgery) we are here!

She is such a light to our family and a blessing to those who meet her. Being born with any condition is not a sentence, there are NO set rules or restrictions. Every individual is different and that is the point.

Living our lives to the fullest of our individual abilities and being a blessing to those around us. <3
